PATRICK - PARTNER
Patrick has over 36 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, with the last 34 as a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
He joined Firmingers in 1986 and became a Partner in 1991. Over this period he has gained extensive experience and developed strong relationships in most industry sectors but
more specifically in retail, education, historic, industrial, licenced trade and law enforcement. A strong drive to accomplish client requirements whilst providing cost and
project management services with an inclusive and non-adversarial approach. Patrick is responsible for all business administrative and HR matters.
JOHN - PARTNER
PARTNER
Having joined Firmingers LLP in 1980, John has over 40 years professional experience covering all sectors of the construction industry. John has developed many long-lasting relationships with leading retail and leisure clients. Other sectors include life sciences, office and town centre regeneration providing procurement, cost management and contract administration services. Collaboration with clients and project teams drive continuous improvement and innovation. John is also responsible for business development.
John became a Partner at Firmingers LLP in 1999.
NEIL - PARTNER
Having joined Firmingers LLP in 2004, Neil has over 30 years private practice professional experience covering all sectors of the construction industry. Most recently Neil has developed and managed new client accounts with retail, leisure, education, research, and private residential clients providing cost management and contract administration services, collaborating closely with the project teams to drive continuous improvement.
Neil became a Partner at Firmingers LLP in 2018.
MARK - SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Mark joined the Practice in 1998 and is the lead Quantity Surveyor for Boots The Chemist, indeed Mark has worked throughout his time at Firmingers on this account. Mark has over 40 years’ experience as a QS with a wide and extensive range of experience from leisure to retail , local authority housing and industrial projects.
JAMES - SENIOR ASSOCIATE
James has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry of which 19 have been with Firmingers. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2018.
His project experience covers a large range of project types specialising in retail. James has developed strong relationships with a wide range of retail clients and provides Cost Management and Project Management services.
NICK - SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Nick has over 30 years’ experience working in construction consultancy and has been chartered since 2000. He joined Firmingers in 1999 and became a Senior Associate in 2015. He has worked extensively across all sectors including retail, leisure, education, heritage, and housing and undertaken the role of CA & PM.
He has undertaken the role of client lead for a number of our clients and been responsible for producing & implementing multiple Framework Agreements for the roll out of large programmes of work.
GRAHAM - SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Graham has worked as a quantity surveyor for over 38 years achieving chartered status in 1990. Graham joined Firmingers in 2005 and is responsible for all English Heritage work and other historic projects. Graham is also responsible for a range of clients including Bentley Motors, Warwick University and St Richards Hospice.

ROB - SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Rob has 30 plus years’ experience in the construction industry, providing all pre and post contract services in a quantity surveying role, together with acting as CA and Employers Agent for Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Rob has worked across all sectors within the industry including retail, leisure, housing, pharmaceutical, lottery funded schemes and local authority projects. His most recent experience is working with retail clients Next and Waterstones.
TARA - SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Tara has 23 years industry experience gained in construction and rail sectors delivering the full range of cost consultancy services. Tara joined Firmingers 5 years ago as a Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor working primarily in The Boots Team on Opticians, Hearingcare and Beauty Schemes.
ADAM - SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Adam has over 15 years’ experience of working in the construction industry and joined Firmingers in 2010 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. During that time Adam has achieved a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and developed a strong relationship with our retail Clients. Over the last 5 years Adam has progressed to taking a leading role with one of our biggest retail Clients. He became a Senior Quantity Surveyor in 2016.
JACK - SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Jack has over 14 years’ experience of working in construction consultancy, joining Firmingers in 2017 as a Trainee quantity Surveyor and obtaining a degree at Birmingham City university. Jack is now a senior quantity surveyor with a wide and extensive range of experience in the retail & Leisure industry.

Josh has over 8 years’ experience of working in construction consultancy, joining Firmingers in 2014 as a Trainee quantity Surveyor and obtaining a First Class Honours degree at Birmingham City university. Josh is now a quantity surveyor with a wide and extensive range of experience in the Retail & Leisure industry

Tim has over 50 years’ experience of working in construction consultancy and joined Firmingers in 2009 as a Senior Cost Manager. Over the last five years Tim has developed a strong relationship with our industrial, office, retail, residential, hospice and historic works clients nationwide and provides Project, Programme and Cost Management services. He works on all types of Building & Civil Engineering work and specialises in M&E Services, Engineering, etc and is based in Worcester.
MERYL - OFFICE MANAGER
Meryl has over 20 years’ experience of management accounting in manufacturing and service sectors. She joined Firmingers in 2009 and besides the accounting function oversees general practice administration. Meryl also took on higher level financial responsibility from the senior partner approximately 4 years ago and continues to develop her role in providing assistance and advice to the partners.
